Tuli näiden ohella vietettyä myös lukuisia iltoja Bar Bäkkärissä enkä nyt kuolemaksenikaan muista kaikkia iltoja jolloin bändejä olisi esiintynyt.
Keikkojen lukumäärä sen kuin vähenee vuosi vuodelta ... tänä vuonna oli sekä ajoittain rahallisia ongelmia ja huomattavissa on myös se että keikka-tarjonta vuonna 2012 ei ollut mitenkään kovin antoisaa, ainakaan Suomen kamaralla. Ulkomaillahan sitä sitten riittikin sen edestä!! Tuli siinä sitten myös 8 festarit kierrettyä.
Sen takia siellä onkin tullut vierailtua näemmä oikein urakalla :
Marilyn Manson x 4 Euroopassa,
Rob Zombie x 2 Euroopassa,
SISTER x 4 Ruotsissa,
Sister Sin x 3 = kerran Suomessa, kaksi Ruotsissa,
Hardcore Superstar & Crashdïet x 3 = kerran Suomessa, kaksi Ruotsissa ja sillä lailla.
Yhteensä kävin Ruotsissa keikoilla 10 päivänä (HUI!!!),
Belgiassa 3 päivänä,
Englannissa 2 päivänä,
Italiassa 1 päivänä,
ja sitten ympäri Suomea (jos oikein laskin) 29 päivänä.
Yhteensähän noista tulee sitten ... 45 päivää. Aika vähän jos miettii kuinka monta päivää vuodessa on :D Ja en halua edes alkaa laskemaan kuin monta matkustuspäivää tai jonotus-tuntia on mennyt taikka unetonta yötä, kaikki on kuitenkin kerta kaikkisen upeita kokemuksia ollut. Rahaakin on palanut ihan kiitettävästi mutta oikeilla valinnoilla sekä tarkalla suunnittelulla ja aikaisin bookkaamisella saa hyvin halvalla lippuja ja lentoja.
Ja tulihan sitä jonkun verran käytyä katsomassa myös varta vasten suomalaisia bändejä ulkomailla :)
Myös 'laatuun' panostaminen näkyy listassa. En jaksa enkä halua enää maksaa ja kuluttaa aikaani turhan päiväisissä kissan ristiäisissä, vain naaman näyttämisen tai tämän listan pidentämisen takia. Minä haluan nauttia siitä musiikista mitä olen katsomassa, en väkipakolla siellä heilua kuin heinämies vain heilumisen takia. Noinkin joskus teininä tuli tehtyä, hups :D
Ja se laatuun panostaminen näkyy nimenomaan määrässä ja noissa ulkomaan keikoissa - moni lempi-bändeistäni ei tänäKÄÄN vuonna Suomeen asti syystä tai toisesta (eli siis kysynnän puutteen takia) eksynyt mikä on todella harmillista. Toivottavasti vuosi 2013 on vähän suotuisampi, ainakin kevät on vallan valoisa :)
Nyt kun on töitä on onneksi vähän sitä kahisevaa jolloin voi lähteä paremmalla mielellä ja paremmin keikkoja katsomaan, toki vapaapäivien ottaminen on asia erikseen! Tosin, Suomessa oltavien keikkojen suhteen ei useimmiten edes vapaita tarvi, keikka-päivälle aamuvuoro ja seuraavalle ilta, ja silti pystyy hyvin rokkailemaan :)
Tavoitteet vuodelle 2013 keikkailussa on jälleen : ei se määrä vaan se laatu. Nytkin alkaa olla maaliskuu jo aivan täyteen bookattu, tammikuun loppu suht kiireistä, helmikuussa siellä täällä muutama ulkomaan keikka, huhtikuussa reissataan ahkeraan Suomi-Ruotsi väliä ja toukokuussa toivottavasti suunnataan Keski-Eurooppaan.
Ja sitten onkin vuorossa kesä ja festarit! Englanti - DOWNLOAD, Belgia - GRASPOP METAL MEETING, Suomi - NUMMIROCK, Ruotsi - SKOGSRÖJET, Saksa - WACKEN OPEN AIR. Kahdessa kuukaudessa. Siinä olis tavoitetta! Ton Englanti-reissun suhteen ei oo vielä varmuutta mutta sillekin ajankohdalle löytyy Suomesta menevä festari, mutta toisaalta siellä ois kyllä 1000 kertaa siistimpää. Saas nähdä kuinka käy ;)
Ja toki se vähän riippuu mitä bändejä minnekin julkaistaan että minne sitä tulee vielä lähdettyä ...
Joten ... antaa tulla vain, 2 0 1 3 !!!
Plus these days, I also spent lots of time in Bar Bäkkäri but just can't remember all days and gigs/bands haha.
The number(s) of the gigs/concerts/festivals is lower than last year, I think. At this year I had sometimes very bad money-problem and we didn't have so many good bands playing here, what's a really big shame. But in other countries, in Europe, wou so much good tours and gigs!! I also did 8 festivals during the year, yeah.
That's why I spent quite lot time in other countries :
Marilyn Manson x 4 in Europe,
Rob Zombie x 2 in Europe,
SISTER x 4 in Sweden,
Sister Sin x 3 = once in Finland, twice in Sweden,
Hardcore Superstar & Crashdïet x 3 = once in Finland, twice in Sweden and so on.
Overall I went to Sweden to gigs for 10 days (OHO!),
to Belgium for 3 days,
to England for 2 days,
to Italy for 1 day,
and then all over in Finland (if I count right) for 29 days.
Together they all are 45 days. Which is not much if we think that there's many many days in a year :D And I don't even wanna know how many days and hours I have used for travelling or waiting in a queue or sleepless night, anyway all the adventures have been more than awesome. Great memories!! And yes, of course this touring have took lots of money. But we have made pretty good deals with all tickets and flights so this could be even more expensive!
And I also went to other countries to see just finnish bands which is maybe a bit funny but what you wouldn't do for the bands what you love :)
Lately I have also tried to pay only music what I really care and like to listen. So more quality, less bullshit. I don't wanna pay, I don't wanna waste my time to unnecessary bands and stuff which is just okay. I wanna enjoy the music what I'm watching and listening for, not be there just because I should be there rocking.
And this more quality, less bullshit-theme you can see specially in the dates. Not so much than last year, maybe a half of 2008-trips! But you can also see that theme in my adventures what comes to the other countries, there are a lot more of them than ever before. Of course it's not my fault that my favorite bands don't come to Finland, and that's why I have to go other countries. Which is cool, because I love travelling :)
I hope that there will be a lot more good bands coming to Finland in 2013, we need good rock-stuff here. At least spring look very good :)
Now when I have work to do I have a bit more money than before which mean I'm more into gigs because, well, I have more money to go. But then taking day offs itäs a bit harder, because you really have to work in REAL WORK, you just can't go there when ever you want to and if it would be like that - how you would ever get enough money?
Luckily when the good gigs are in FInland, specially in Helsinki, I don't even need day offs. The day when the gig is I can have a morning-shift and the next day evening-shift, and still I can be rocking as well as the others :)
I'm very curious to see what 2013 will bring and definitely using the same theme. Already now (actually in november ...) almost the whole march is booked, january is quite full of in the end, in february there is few amazing gigs coming in Sweden, in april I'm also travelling between FIN-SWE a lot and in may we hopefully follow some certain bands to Middle-Europe.
And then it's already summer and festivals! England - DOWNLOAD, Belgium - GRASPOP METAL MEETING, Finland - NUMMIROCK, Sweden - SKOGSRÖJET, Germany - WACKEN OPEN AIR. In two months. At least those special few festivals are must go-festivals. Not sure yet about the UK-trip, I hope it will work out but it's not the end of the world because we're having a festival with great bands in Finland at the same time too but of course it would be 1000 times cooler. Let's see what happen :)
And of course it depends of the bands what other festivals I would like to do ...
So ... BRING IT ON, 2 0 1 3 !!!
