Sonisphere-Finland; Stam1na, mainstage, 2.7.2011, Kalasatama, Helsinki

Mentiin jonottamaan viime vuoden Sonisphereen päivää aikaisemmin SlipKnoTin takia. Harmitti ja harmittaa edelleen että Rob Zombie perui, perkele!
Juostiin tai itseasiassa minä kävelin koska pääsin ennen muita alueelle sisään (ha haa, siitäs saivat muut kun eivtä lippu-laitteet toimineet :D) ja suoraa päälavan eteen, vähän vasempaan sivustaan keskeltä edestä katsottuna.

Päälavan bändit olivat Stam1na, Mastodon (USA), In Flames (SWE) ja SlipKnoT (USA). Toisen lavan bändit tuli katsottua aika lailla istuen päälavan eturivi-aidassa kiinni heh. Päälavan bändit olivat kaikki mieleeni paitsi mielestäni Mastodon on ihan helvetin tylsä ... varsinkin jos sen näkee viikon sisään kaksi kertaa, hyvien bändien keskellä. Argh!

Mutta tässäpä keikka-kuvia Stam1nan keikalta :) Iso HAIL Hyrden mahtavalle keikka-asulle, jau jau!

We went to Finland's Sonisphere-festival in 2011 to see SlipKnoT! We were waiting outside the venue already a day before because we wanted to make sure our places in frontrow and cuz waiting is so funny with good friend(s)!
We ran to the frontrow of the mainstage because there were performing SlipKnoT.


The bands at the mainstage were Stam1na (FIN), Mastodon (USA), In Flames (SWE) and SlipKnoT (USA).
We didn't see so much or even were intrested a lot of the bands at the other stage hahah. I like all other bands except Mastodon, I think it's a bit boring :D

Uusi levyhän ilmestyi keskiviikkona 8.2., Nocebo ( tai No Seppo ;D ) ja kannattaa ostaa se, tajuttoman hyvä!



New video from finnish band called by Stam1na! They're one of the best live-bands what come from Finland, in my opinion, and this song kick asses!

They also released their new album, Nocebo, at wednesday 8.2.! Damn good! There's also one song in ENGLISH. Check it out!

Sonisphere 2011 (Finland) - Ensimmäiset bändit julkistettu / first bands announced !

Tänä vuonna Sonisphere-festivaali rantautuu jälleen Suomeen, tosin päivämäärä ja paikka muuttuvat - festivaalia vietetään jo 2. heinäkuuta (2.7.2011) ja paikka on tällä kertaa Kalasatama, Helsingissä.

Pääesiintyjä tänä vuonna on amerikkalainen maski-yhtye Slipknot!
Muita ulkomaalaisia esiintyjiä ovat In Flames (SWE), Opeth (SWE) sekä Mastodon (US). Suomalaisista taas ovat varmistuneet Sonata Arctica ja Stam1na.
Lisää bändejä tulossa ...

Liput tulevat myyntiin keskiviikkona 23.2.2011, kello 9.00, Tiketissä. (http://www.tiketti.fi/)
Liput alkaen 86 euroa. Tapahtumalla ei ole ikärajaa.

Also this year Sonisphere-festival comes to Finland! Festival have new date and place - it's already 2.7.2011 and the place is Kalasatama, in Helsinki.

This year main band is american Slipknot!
Other bands who are announced is In Flames (SWE), Opeth (SWE), Mastodon (US) and finnish bands are Sonata Arcitica and Stam1na.
More bands coming soon ....

Tickets come to sale on wednesday 23.2.2011, 9.00 o'clock (on the morning, at finnish time!), in Tiketti (http://www.tiketti.fi/).
Ticket-prices start from 86 euros. There's no age-limit for this festival.

I will write more about my feelings about this year Sonisphere-festival, bands etc. tomorrow!

Provinssi-festival ; Stam1na, 20.6.2010, Seinäjoki

Pari päivää lepoa Crashdïetistä ja samantien tien päälle takaisin -> Provinssiii! Bullet For My Valentine ja Rammstein olivat ne syy, minkä takia maksoin lipusta sen +70 eur, en nyt tarkkaan muista kuinka paljon se oli.
Itse en jaksanutkaan suunnitelmien mukaan mennä jonottamaan koko yöksi, joten mentiin vasta aamuyöstä, tosin onneksi siellä ei ollut ketään, koska koko illan/yön satoi ihan kaatamalla ... not so nice.
Porttien avaaminen sujui taas kerran yhtä huonosti kuin aina ennenkin kuulemma Provinssissa ja olivat päästäneet toisilta porteilta porukkaa ennen meitä, vaikka vannottiin että kaikki pääsevät samaan aikaan.
No onneksi päästiin kuitenkin semi-hyville paikoille, Pexin (Stam1na), eteen.

Ihan kuin ei olisi jo valmiiksi odoteltu ikuisuuksia niin tottakai sitä piti odotella taas, mutta sen siitä saa jos haluaa vaan mennä päälavan eteen :D

Omasta puolestani täytyy sanoa että Stam1na ei oikein iskenyt noin suurella lavalla, mielestäni bändi on parhaimmillaan klubi-keikoilla. Ja siis lavahan oli tavallista suurempi mitä Provinssissa pää-lava yleensä, kiitos Rammsteinin. Kyllähän sen toki mieluusti katseli. Tässäpä kuvia keikasta, nauttikaa :)

So, it was pretty wild drive this one week in june, first 2 x Crashdïet, then few days rest and again to the road -> Provinssi-festival, which is pretty old festival in Finland. I pay over 70 eur just for that, I can see Bullet For My Valentine and Rammstein from the front line! :D
Our first plan was go to wait to all night long, but then when we get to the Seinäjoki about in the midnight, there were really bad weather, so we go to the line about 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning, and thank God we were first ones!
When gates FINALLY opened, evereything just fucked up, surprise ... The security-guys told us, that they don't open the other gate before, but you can guess what they did ... We were pretty pissed off, but we got our place in the front line, for the 'right' side, just front of the Pexi (Stam1na).

I have to say that Stam1na didn't work so well as they could work for that big stage .. .I mean, the stage was HUGE, because the headliner for that night was Rammstein.
I like them more in the club-gigs, but of course I enjoy the gig, but not as much as usually.
