Festival summer 2015!

Sorry for being so quiet lately. I had lots of work to do and got some festivals to do and it just didn't feel right to update my blog. And I don't want to update this if I don't feel like it. I hope you understand. :)

This summer I visited in Graspop Metal Meeting, Tuska Open Air festival's afterparty clubs, Wacken Open Air and Getaway Rock Festival. I also went to see Suicide Silence's gig in Nosturi a day before going to Getaway. That's all for me at this summer!
I wish I could do more and specially the ones where Rob Zombie were playing but I guess this was better than nothing.

Guess what?! Finally it's time for Wacken Open Air 2011 !!!

I have wait this so long time, and I'm so excited !!! Aaaaaaa !!!
So don't worry if there's no life at this blog for a while, I'm coming back to Finland on sunday.

Faster! Harder! Louder! 2011!

Guess what, my dear followers?!
I have bought my first festival-ticket for summer 2011! Okay, I bought it long time ago, but I get it to me last weeks friday!
So ...

... say hello to my Wacken Open Air 2011 -3 days *ALL IN* ticket- !!!
At this moment, W:O:A 2011 is SOLD OUT! I guess that if you wanna come to W:O:A you can find some tickets from eBay, or if your country is making trip to W:O:A, ask very soon is there any places left!
And for finnish people ; Elmu has still some tickets left (trip-tickets), read more HERE!
Notice, that you need to be fast, you have only THIS MONTH time to get contact to Elmu and say that you're intressed!!! Read more of the link what I put.

But the question is ; What bands are this year in W:O:A?
I will now put here ALL BANDS who gonna play there and then after the band name put my opinion them, am I gonna go to see them and so on :) Bands who I'm waiting for the most is in pink colour.

Accuser - Never heard.
Airbourne - This band kick asses! I saw them first time in Sauna Open Air 2008 (?) and they totally stole my heart!
Apocalyptica - Last year I saw them in W:O:A, even it was a "secret" show! This year have to see them too, they're awesome!
As I Lay Dying - Haven't listen this band so much nowdays, but I like their attitude and music style. So definitely gonna check them!
Avantasia - One of my friend, who's coming with our group, like them, and if there's nothing better playing same time than them, I guess I'm gonna watch their show.
Battle Beast - Never heard.
Blaas of Glory - Never heard.
Blind Guardian - Not my fav bands, but not bad band at all. Gonna watch if there's nothing better to do :D
Blowsight - Never heard.
Bullet - I miss their show in Finland this week 'cause I'm very ill atm!!! So definitely gonna check them in W:O:A!
Bülent Ceylan - Never heard.
Children of Bodom - One of the biggest reasons why I buy the ticket. It doesn't matter if in W:O:A would be only COB and all other bands would be not so good - the feeling in the area is something what you can't tell in words! Can't wait this :)
Cradle of Filth - One of my teenage fav bands. Gonna check them if there's nothing better going on at the same time, I wanna hear Nymhetamine! Hopefully their still playing that ...
CrashDiet - Next day when I get that ticket to my hands, Crashdïet confirmed to play in W:O:A !!! Their my fav band at the moment and this is so good luck for me, I'm so excited!
Devil Driver - Haven't listen them so much ... maybe.
Eläkeläiset - Hahahaha, don't like them at all, but gonna go check them just because their finnish! :D
Excrementory G. - Never heard.
Exodus - One of my friend who's coming with us like them so maybe I'm gonna check them too!
Hail of Bullets - Never heard, but the name sounds interesting ...
Hayseed Dixie - ^
Hämatom - Very, very interesting name! Still, never heard, maybe I should check them because of that name :D
Heaven Shall Burn - If their not playing same time than some of my top favourites, gonna check them out.
Hellsaw - Never heard, but interesting name.

Iced Earth - Don't know yet, shall we see them ...

Kreator - One of my friends who's leaving with us, like them, so I think I'm gonna check them too if there's nothing good at the same time.
Mayhem - I listen them when Joey Jordison play drums in Mayhem, but ... it's not my style music anymore.
Morbid Angel - Not one of my top fav bands, but ...
Morgoth - Sounds some death metal band, so I guess I'm not gonna watch them ...
Motörhead - Definitely gonna see them!
Negator - Never heard.

Ozzy Osbourne - Gonna check him, even his not a God for me, heh ...

Russkaja - Totally 'never heard' band but sounds interesting!

So, what we can see? Not very much MUST HAVE-bands, but the quality is the best ;)
Quite much never heard-bands, but it's always nice to see new bands!

Can't wait for W:O:A 2011 !!! 173 days to go! :)

We haven't last day many have to see-bands, but W.A.S.P. was something, what we wanna see on front row!
I didn't look the whole show from the front, when comes Wildchild, I went to crowdsurfing ... ;)

Wacken Open Air ; Arch Enemy, 6.8.2010, GER

I left when Tarja started her encore and I checed few songs from Arch Enemy.
Even they're not my top favorite bands, I love their attitude ... and specially awesome singer Angela. Girlpower, for fuck sake! ;)

Somehow it was really weird, beautiful and amazing, to stand almost in the middle of the band-area, when you can hear both of the female singers ; they're so different ... it was really interesting. I just stand there and think how many different way a women can sing. Awesome!

Photos are quite bad because I was crowdsurfing 4/5 of the time during the Arch Enemy's show!

Wacken Open Air ; Tarja, 6.8.2010, GER

I almost slept too much, and missed Tarja's show ...

Thank God, my 'inside clock' wake-up me! Tarja played the smallest stage on the festival-area (three stages), but there were lots of people come to see her, I guess there's lots of people in Germany who still like Tarja after she's Nightwish-career, more than in Finland.

I have to say that, first I think that should I go to see just for Arch Enemy, but luckily I go to see Tarja! (Ok, I saw few songs from Arch Enemy too)
And I liked it. Maybe that's why, that Tarja is always have been some kind of 'idol' for me ... well, not anymore so much, but years ago ...

She played most of the my own favorites from she's solo-albums but also some Nightwish-stuff, like for example Sleeping Sun. It was so beautiful to hear it when the sun was going down! Awesome :)

People have talked about Nightwish-Tarja-Anette-thing so many years, but I have to say that my opinion is that the Nightwish is Tarja, Tuomas, Jukka, Emppu and Marco, for me.
Of course Anette is such a lovely women and good singer, but something died inside me when they divide Tarja from the band. But for me ... I listen them from the Wishmaster-album, so very long time. Still, even how hard I want to, I never felt the same feelings (listening Nightwish with Anette) what I felt listening Nightwish with Tarja, I can't explain this ... but I guess many people can understand it and perhaps feel the same what I do.
Yes, I like a lot of Nightwish's 'new' album Dark Passion Play, and I also saw them few times live, and I guess that I'm gonna see them in future also. But it won't be anymore the same and I just have to get deal with it, even I'm still so sad about that, what happens between the band and Tarja ...

There's still one BUT. One of the biggest reasons, why i don't like Nightwish so much anymore, is the finnish fans. Ok, many of my friends like Nightwish and so on, I don't mean them, but most of the fans are nowdays very ... how can I say it ... the band is like a passion for them, and I guess some of them have 'across the line'.
Nowdays you're not a good fan if you don't own all albums and singles, all t-shirts etc ... If you have only two shirts and I have three, I'm so much better fan than you are! Also there's huge competition of that, who are the first one waiting for the band before the gig. Okay, I understand waiting 'cause I do it by myself also quite a lot, but if you're waiting finnish band in Finland THREE DAYS before the gig only that's why, you wanna show that you're the best fan, isn't it stupid? I also think that is ridiculous.. And if the only point in the gig is that who get the most of attention (yes, different groups have big signs with them, and bigger it's better 'cause MIGHT get more attention than other ones) ... only what I can say is WTF.
Why they just can't enjoy the gigs etc and be friends? No, there's also some stupid competitions ... This is my view for the thing, and I write here quite harsh words but I'm just so pissed off for that kind of attitude etc :D
I saw Nightwish in Graspop (2009 summer), and I can say that the feeling in the audience was so happy and friendly, but in Finland it's more like angry and tense ... I just can't understand that. And I don't even care about that anymore.. I'm not dying if Tuomas don't remember me or look at me once during the gig ... Or then I'm just too old for that stuff ;)

I'm happy that both of them careers have continue and very well, and I hope that in the future they will have lots of great times!
